Before Your Appointment
Here are a few things to know to help you prepare for our appointment:
No Makeup
You might feel uneasy leaving the house with no makeup, but the only way to ensure an accurate analysis is if I can see your natural skin. This includes tinted or illuminating sunscreens. If you're coming from somewhere else, I have makeup remover wipes and will ask you to take it off before we begin our session.
Bring Makeup
I am not a makeup artist, but I am a color expert. If you have been wondering why that one lipstick never quite looked right on you, bring it along and we can see if what you have works in your palette. We will discuss what colors will compliment your lips, eyes and cheeks, based on your best colors.
No Spray Tan
The week before your analysis, please do not get a spray tan or use self-tanner on your face. For the same reason as the makeup, I need to see how your skin naturally responds to the colors you will be draped in.
Bring Childhood Photos
Did you know your color palette never changes? You have always been in the same palette. Please bring 2-3 photos (on your phone is fine) that show your hair color as a child and a teen, before you started coloring your hair.
